Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

According to Jesus Christ, everyone in the world should be a student of the Word of God. All of us who believe have been given the responsibility of preaching the gospel of salvation through Christ by making disciples of all nations. You can see how much of a “backlog” we have when Jesus Christ says “make disciples of all nations”. Inviting people to come to the service gives them the opportunity to hear God speaking to them. God speaks to his people through His Word. Coming to the service makes people have a 100% chance of being saved. If people do not come to be disciples of the Word and stay at home, they have a 100% chance of being condemned for eternity. They will go to hell. You are going to heaven. You will be in heaven and God will ask you for the blood of these people because you left them home. You did not invite them to go to the class and learn about God. We need to feed the people with the Word  at home, neighbourhood,at work and everywhere we go. .Don’t be silent brother, let them be given more    invitations to come to Church and to become students of the Word . Call them all!!! Those who come with you will listen to the Word of God, You will receive a crown. Invite a person to become a disciple until you have finished your race .Your Ministry  is inviting and recruiting people to the school of the Word. You can’t just keep quiet when people are going to hell. God will save the people who here the Word and believe Jesus Christ. We leave it to God to  save the  people. It is God’s responsibility to make them  touched by the Word of God and turn to Christ. Your responsibility is to “register them as the Bible scholars” in the Church

“Just tell the people” that there is salvation through Christ.

Tell them that we are eating the food of the soul. We are eating the Word of God when we worship. We are not pleasing  the flesh. How will it help a person to spend all his time away from God and then ultimately lose his eternal life?

” The closer you come to the genuine Bible Teachings, the more your chances are to know the way to God.Jesus Christ is the only gate to enter heaven.”

There is no other gate through which we can enter heaven, only Jesus Christ.

At that time you invite a person to become a disciple, and they  come, you are making the offerings that please God. We leave it up to God to save the people. It is God’s work to make them to be pierced by the Word of God and turn to Christ. Yours is to bring them and make them disciples. Encourage them to come, brother . Imitate the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not give peace   those  who do not believe in Jesus Christ . He convicts them day and night and tells them that “you are always a sinner”. Your sins are before the eyes of the Lord. They are not forgiven. You need Jesus Christ who removes the sins of the world. The people can harden their heads but the Holy Spirit tells them that if you don’t believe in Jesus Christ you will be condemned to hell. And you, my brother, it is your duty to invite people to come and listen to a good story to tell . A story that can be told. The story that Jesus Christ forgives the sins of people who believe in Him and trust Him.

John 16:7-15

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

What is salvation? Salvation is an event of grace that you receive for free “from God” When you are saved, all your sins are forgiven. Salvation is given to you by God. Unless you believe in Jesus Christ  there is nothing else you have to do to be saved. There are not even good deeds  you can do to be saved. Salvation is given to you for free by God because He loves you. You received God’s grace and you were saved. God chose you to go to heaven. You don’t get salvation if you don’t accept  and receive it. You get salvation by accepting and receiving it.. You must  see the need to be saved and receive it by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. The forgiveness of your sins is the only purpose that makes God bring Jesus Christ to be a perfect offering that satisfies God. There is no other way that God has offered for us to be saved so that we do not perish. Only the death of Jesus Christ is our perfect offering and the only way to receive salvation: To get saved we must believe in Jesus Christ and trust Him alone. If you don’t believe in Jesus Christ, your sins will never be forgiven. If you die, you will be condemned to hell.

Jesus Christ emphasizes  that everyone on earth should be taught to be a disciple. Everyone  must know  Jesus Christ. If you  give a person an  information about Jesus Christ, then you have  given that person a real offering. This is an offering that will make that person live forever. And you will be rewarded with a crown for the  people who came to know  Jesus Christ through your teachings. Teachers , Evangelists, Apostles,Prophets, Pastors and Church, please, teach your people well.To save  them  is the responsibility of God. Your responsibility is to make them disciples

“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded”

Failure to  teach  people about Jesus Christ makes them fail to know God. People will know  God by first knowing Jesus Christ who is life.

John 14:6-7

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

There is something that is often said by people who do not have enough knowledge about Jesus Christ. These are people who say the things that contraven the Word of God. They say:

What a person believes in is what is right for him. People say God accepts a person based on  his beliefs.

This statement is not Biblical. We must know that  Jesus Christ  is God. God cannot “contradict” Himself. He cannot speak words that contraven His Word. If God said salvation comes through Jesus Christ, then God cannot establish another name by which we are saved.

John 10:7,9,11

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

There are many people who claim to worship God, but the truth is, they were not taught about Jesus Christ. Some of them are our relatives, they are our friends, they are our children, they are our neighbors. People need to be taught  about Jesus  Christ, because if they ever pass away without accepting Jesus Christ, they are condemned to eternal judgement.

Matthew 5:13-16

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

A person is like a child who does not want to eat, but food will keep  the child healthy. If the children do not eat, they  will die of hunger. The mother make the child eat food   until he learns to feed himself.

Jesus Christ says we must  make people learn to read  the Word of God. People must  become Bible Scholars. A person who does not read the Bible does not grow spiritually. God always reveals Himself through His Word. You need to grow in faith. If your faith does not grow. Your blessings as well will not come quickly.Your blessings will come drop  by drop.If you read the Word of God , you will  know God quickly and you will have a break through in everything you do .

“Make disciples of all the nations”

If you read the  Word of God ,and you find the right resources,  you know more about Jesus Christ. You end up possessing a  zeal to teach the Word . You become closely related to God. God talks to you all the time. Everything starts with a person becoming a scholar  of the Word.

“Make disciples of all the nations”

Jesus Christ does not make mistakes. When He says He is with us until the end of the world, He is right. We need to accept and believe that a saved person has Jesus Christ forever.  There is nothing that can separate a saved person from Jesus Christ. When you pray, never say “Come Lord Jesus”. Jesus Christ is in us.He lives in us. As long as you are saved, know that Jesus Christ is in you.He lives in you.

Another believer prays and says:

Come down Holy Spirit !The Holy Spirit is already in you if you believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ says: “Look I am with you all the days until the end of the world” This says there is no time when you will ever find yourself separated from Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and God are all one God,Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. All three are in you. But the only prerequisite  for God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to be in you in every second and all the time is that you believe in Jesus Christ first. Jesus Christ is the son of God who is above everything. You have to trust Jesus Christ alone. This is a perfect relationship and perfect divine order from God. You must accept this  order to get the approval of God. Do not trust in the other gods.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life,John 3:16
Eternal life is received when God forgives all your sins through your belief in Jesus Christ. God forgives you because you believe in Jesus Christ his son. If you don’t believe in Jesus Christ, the wrath of God will always be upon you. If you pass away from this world you will go to hell. If you believe in Jesus Christ you will be saved from the wrath of God, you will be forgiven of all your sins.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”John 3:18,36

As soon you  believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit immediately comes down and take permanent residence in your life.He indwells you. He takes permanent residence in your life.” The Holy Spirit  does not forsake you . The Holy Spirit” seals your salvation “. The Holy Spirit puts a seal in you to ensure that you are permanently saved,

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name ,John 1:12

John 16:7-11

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

Deuteronomy 16:10

Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the Lord your God blesses you.

Matthew 18:21-35

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the Lord your God blesses you.

If we give, let’s give freely. Let’s give with joy. Let’s give to get God’s approval and blessing.
• Offerings can  be cash
• Offerings can be edible
• Money. Anything else you wish to do is taken as your offering
• Giving should be done freely “out of your free will “• Let’s listen to the Holy Spirit
• Offerings should be  made in the Church so that the Church can thank God for all  offerings.God will give you blessings. Through the offerings we make, the Church should give to the needs of the Church and the others.God blesses you in order to bless others
• Our offerings will enable the Church to
• Care for Servants
• Care for widows, orphans  and those “who cannot afford life”, building houses of worship
• There is no forced offerings in the Church of God. Offerings are  given from the heart . Do not  give out of fear.  Give out of love. If you have nothing to offer , pray “Our God is a provider”. And the Church prays for the one who has nothing so that  they may have more. Jesus Christ gave His life with love. We also encourage giving with love.

We do not give offerings  because we are forced by the law. We are Christians. We base our offerings on the free gift of the blood of Jesus Christ that shed for our sins . Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and give, to receive your blessings. Whatever we do, we have the intention of pleasing Jesus Christ. Even if we give someone a gift, it  is given for the Lord Jesus Christ. We  are not doing it to keep a certain law or to please someone else.We are giving the offerings to show our faith to the Lord and to please Jesus Christ.

Matthew 25:34-40

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Luke:6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

In Luke 6, Jesus describes the way His faithful followers are to live. In verses 27–38, He zeroes in on heart attitudes, teaching His disciples to cultivate an inner generosity of forgiveness, grace, and love:

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Luke 6:27‭-‬38

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back” Jesus wants us to remember that we reap what we sow and in proportion to the measure that we sow. If we don’t want to be judged and condemned, we’ll stop judging and condemning others. If we wish to receive abundant forgiveness, then we’ll liberally demonstrate forgiveness toward others

Matthew 6:14

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Matthew 18:21–35

 Ephesians 4:32

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

We will treat others how we would want to be treated if we were in their shoes

Luke 6:31

And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

If we seek only to acquire things for ourselves, we will lose everything

Ukunikela siphoqwa ngumthetho nakho kuyasehlula bazalwane.Kwesinye isikhathi size siye ko Mashonisa ngoba sifuna ukugcina umthetho wokunikela.Hayi bo!Ikuphi inkinga yethu.Sizithwaliselani umthwalo uJesu Kristu ekhona.Insindiso ingeka Nkulunkulu, ngo Kristu indodana yakhe.Awukho umthetho ongasenza sisindiswe.UJesu Kristu ufikile ukugcwalisa umthetho.

Luke 9:25

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?

But if we spend our lives generously pouring out God’s grace, forgiveness, and love onto others, we will receive back “a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over”

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Luke 6:38  ( IsiZulu  version )

Yiphani, khona niyakuphiwa; bayakunipha esifubeni senu isilinganiso esihle, esigxushiweyo, esigqishiweyo, esichichimayo; ngokuba ngesilinganiso enilinganisa ngaso nani niyakulinganiselwa ngaso.”

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Are we stingy with our grace, kindness, forgiveness, and love toward others, or are we lavishing these gifts to the same degree Jesus poured them out on us? We cannot love like Jesus in our own strength, but only through the power of the Holy Spirit

Romans 5:5

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

 Galatians 5:22–23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Although Jesus wasn’t explicitly talking about monetary giving in Luke 6:38, the “pressed down shaken together” principle does apply: “Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything”

Proverbs 11:24,

There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.

Proverbs 11:25;

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

Proverbs  22:9

He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.

 Malachi 3:10

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

The apostle Paul taught, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”

 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

As  the Church of God  we must not give because we are forced to give. Let us  give deep down from our hearts.Give out of love and be happy when bringing  the offerings. Our offerings come from loving our Lord Jesus Christ who gave up His life so that our sins will be forgiven. Jesus Christ was not forced to die. He gave up His life on His own initiative because He loves us. He gave up his life and died so that we will qualify to live with God forever.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Romans 8:1-3

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

So ,Brethren, to please God with our offerings as a  Church, we should do something easier than wanting to make offerings  a law “which is difficult to observe”. Let us believe in Jesus Christ and then joyfully give our offerings deep down from our hearts.God  blesses a cheerful giver.Jesus Christ has made it easy for us to give by making Himself a free sacrifice for our sins.

If we want to please God, we must believe in Jesus Christ, the son of the living God.Have faith in God and give what ever will will show our love for our.We can give  even more than 10 % of our earnings as long as we are cheerful God will bless us.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

By the death of Jesus Christ, God bore our sins in His own body on the tree.Jesus Christ carried the  burden we could not carry .The law is also failing to force us to give offerings. Some people prefer to create endless debts in order to satisfy the terms of the law.We end up making life difficult for our families. No peace at home now.No happiness.Through Jesus Christ, God  made life easy for us.  Christ came to fulfill the law so that we have peace.

Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

We need to believe in Jesus Christ and happily give our offerings. We will be blessed. We do not have to suffer in order to please God.Jesus Christ suffered once and for all.We only need to have faith in Jesus Christ,God will be pleased with us.With our offerings we are supporting the work of the Lord.We are saying ” thank you Lord for what you have done for us.Lord with our offerings, please, continue God to help others.Give to the poor, orphans, widows and in the Church as a symbol of praise and worship we make to our God .

1 Peter 2:24

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.

Galatians 3:14

that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

  • The death of Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the law
    • After Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, nowhere in the New Testament does it say that the Church of God is obliged to pay the tithe which was the law for Israel.
    • The New Testament only encourages the Church to give offerings  if there are gifts they wish to give to the servant
    • The Church gathered and prayed first Sunday

    1 Corinthians 16:2
On the first day of the week, let each one set himself aside and accumulate according to his luck, so that when I come, it will not be time to make a donation.
    • The New Testament only encourages that Church should give
    • It emphasizes that it is important to give with joy
    • Give as much as we can
    • Donate to the needs of the Church without being forced by law
    James 1:5
If there is anyone among you who lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all with goodness without hesitation, and it will be given to him.
    • A person should donate what he decides in his heart to donate
    • Let him give with joy in order to receive
    blessings
    • No one is forced
    • Jehovah loves a cheerful giver
    2 Corinthians 9:7
Let each one give according to what he chooses in his heart, not with sadness or under pressure, because God loves a cheerful giver.
