John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The virgin birth is important because that was the means by which “the Word became flesh” (John 1:14). The incarnation is when the eternal Son of God took on human flesh; without losing any of His divine nature, He added a human nature. That miraculous, history-changing event took place in the Virgin Mary’s womb.
Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
Isaah 7:14
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
The virgin birth of Jesus Christ was predicted in the Old Testament.It came to pass that Jesus Christ was born by a virgin Marry.Everything that was predicted in the Old Testament will come to pass.Jesus Christ will come back again to this earth in the Second Coming.
Isaah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:23,
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
The doctrine of the virgin birth teaches that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. That is, when Mary conceived Jesus, she had never had sexual intercourse. Jesus’ birth, therefore, was truly miraculous.
The God we serve is a God of miracles.There are a lot of miracles that God has performed in your life today.The fact that you keep on waking up alive in the morning is a miracle itself.Why are you still on this earth up to now.It your miracle from our God.In the year that is coming believe,God is coming with miracles.
Luke 1:27,34,35
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
The angel Gabriel visits the Virgin Mary to bring her the news that she would be the mother of the Messiah. Mary asks, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” (Luke 1:34, ESV). Gabriel’s reply indicates the miraculous nature of the conception: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35). The angel points not to any human act but to the Holy Spirit and the power of God as the agency of Jesus’ birth. Jesus would properly be called the Son of God.
The virgin birth of Jesus Christ did happen.It is good that Jesus Christ was born from God.He is the Son of God so that no man in this world will claim the fatherhood to Jesus Christ.Jesus is only the Son of God.He is God himself.Jesus Christ has got all the qualities of God.He points us only to God.
The name of Jesus Christ is Emmanuel which means God is with us.The fact that Jesus Christ was born of the Holy Spirit qualifies Him to give those who believe in Him Spiritual Birth.As a result of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ,we who believe in Jesus Christ are born Jesus Christ never dies and we are not going to die.We have the miraculous birth that Jesus Christ had: To be born of the Holy Spirit.Our flesh will become weak, go down and rot in the grave,but our spirit and soul will never see decay for we are spiritually born in Spirit like Jesus Christ,the son of God.
As we believe in Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit has come upon us, and the power of the Most High overshadows us. We have received the holy one and we are called the children of God.
John:1: 12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Emmanuel!God is with us forever and ever.Not a single day you five yourself without God.God is with us.He is our miracle.
Accepting God’s word on the matter, Joseph proceeded to take Mary as his wife, but she remained a virgin until after Jesus was born: “He did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son”
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus .
There are things that belong to us.They are given to us by God,but we must learn to respect God,wait as God said until the right time comes.Joseph was a good man.He got married to marry but waited until her Son Jesus Christ was born.
If we can learn from Joseph.We have self control with our lives until the right time comes we can live a blessed There is always your miracle for you to receive,but like Joseph did you have to wait for your miracle.Abraham’s blessings are still experienced even today.Abraham believe God,it was hard to wait.He even committed errors,but he waited until Isaac came.Today we can see the power of waiting upon the Lord.Jesus Christ came.Joseph,the son of Jacob waited as God told him to wait.
