Thou Art the Worthy.Thou Art the One. Thou Art the Worthy to me.Hallelujah X2. Jesus is coming. He is coming back again. Hallelujah x 2. Jesus is coming. He is coming back again.
Luke 22:19-20
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
People ask what is the new covenant? How is the new covenant different from the old covenant? What are the effects of the new covenant?
In the New Covenant, God has placed His Law in the heart of those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in their lives. The Law of God is a person, the Holy Spirit, who lives in the saved person and controls them throughout their lives. The Holy Spirit commands you not to sin. If you have sinned, the Holy Spirit tells you to confess your sin to Jesus Christ and cleanse yourself so that you can be forgiven.
Under the Old Covenant, many Israelites viewed the Law as a tradition that must be followed, but their hearts were far from God. Their obedience did not come from their hearts. It came from knowing the law, which they called the law of Moses.
THE LAW OF MOSES WAS A SHADOW OF THE PERFECTION TO COME. Jesus Christ has come, let us believe in him alone and trust in him alone. Jesus Christ is God and He is the Spirit ,The Holy One. He lives in us and we live in Him.
Hebrews 10:1-18
For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ” Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them ” (which are offered according to the law),
Under the New Covenant, what is in shadow will be replaced by what is real, and God will not only forgive our iniquities but will also remember our sins no more because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Entering into the New Covenant requires that you believe in Jesus Christ and trust in Him alone. IN THE NEW COVENANT God forgives all our sins
Matthew 26:28
For this is My blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
On the cross, justice was satisfied. His forgiveness is eternal.God does not want to associate with other gods. Israel did not do this because they abandoned God. No, they served Him. They loved and trusted Him, but they also served other gods worshipped by the nations they lived among. Then God was not pleased. He simply watched them as their enemies attacked and destroyed their properties, because they believed in other gods. They did not trust in Jehovah alone. Jehovah did not protect the children of Israel in their fight against their enemies when they associated Him with other gods.God is jealous.
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Acts 13:38
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;
Our sins were not only covered by the blood of bulls and goats, but they were paid for and taken away by the Lamb of God in this New Covenant.
John 1:6-8, 15, 19-29
There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came for a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him. He himself was not the light, but came to bear witness of the light. John bore witness of Him, and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, for He existed before me.’ ” This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed and did not deny, but confessed and said, “I am not the Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.” Then they said to him, “Who are you? That we may give an answer to those who sent us; who do you say you are?” He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ ” as the prophet Isaiah said. Those who were sent were from the Pharisees. And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one whom you do not know: He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” These things happened in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Our sins have been taken away from us. They are no longer in us according to the New Covenant.
Exodus 20:3-5
“You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
God does not want us to associate Him with other gods. If we associate Him with other gods, “He will leave us or forsake us.” But if we believe and trust in Jesus Christ only ,God will not leave us,nor forsake us.
We will always be defeated by demons and our enemies if we practise idolatry. If we believe and trust in Jesus Christ, God will always hear us and fight for us. When Israel repented and cried to God,Jehovah would hear them and gave them power to overcome their enemies. The best way for us is to serve God alone by believing in Jesus Christ, trusting in Him alone.
If we believe in Jesus Christ and trust in Him alone, God no longer remembers our sins. We need not return to our sins for God has dealt with our sin accordingly through the death of Christ.
