Brother, we would like to express our deepest respect for your participation in the work of God wherever you are and in whatever way you contribute to support the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We would like to ask you to become our partner in our efforts to encourage and promote unity amongst the Christians. We believe we are all equal in the work of the Lord. We are different in terms of the gifts and duties that we do in the body of Christ.
We would like to emphasize that Jesus Christ desires to His Church loving one another and doing the work of God together.
The Church International Body of Christ is not a Denomination either, but we are an Organisation that aims to work with all people who believe in Jesus Christ, regardless of the Denominational affiliation. Our motive is to see the Christians united in their love for God as Jesus Christ prayed in the book of John Chapter 17.
Trans Church Organizations are
faith-based groups, ministries, and denominations working to create affirming spaces, provide support, and advocate for the full inclusion of transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals within Christianity and other faiths, offering resources, community, and spiritual guidance, like the Transmission Ministry Collective, Q Christian Fellowship, and Sybils. These organizations often partner with larger denominations (like the Episcopal Church or UCC) to promote gender justice and challenge traditional doctrines.
Types of Organizations
Support & Community: Groups offering fellowship, virtual meetings, and resources for trans Christians and allies (e.g., Sybils, Q Christian Fellowship).
Advocacy & Inclusion: Organizations pushing for policy changes and acceptance within specific denominations (e.g., ReconcilingWorks for Lutherans, Affirmation for Methodists).
Ministry & Education: Groups providing faith-based education, workshops, and resources for both individuals and faith communities (e.g., Transmission Ministry Collective).
Denominational Bodies: Larger, established churches with official stances or programs for LGBTQ+ inclusion (e.g., Metropolitan Community Churches, United Church of Christ).
Key Examples
Transmission Ministry Collective: A movement believing all gender identities are sacred, offering support groups, workshops, and Bible studies for trans and gender-expansive people.
Q Christian Fellowship: A diverse community fostering radical belonging for LGBTQ+ Christians and allies through community and spiritual growth.
Sybils (UK): A group for Christian transgender, non-binary, and intersex people, partners, and allies, supporting advocacy work.
ReconcilingWorks: Advocates for the full participation of LGBTQ+ people in the Lutheran church.
The Reformation Project: Works to advance an “orthodox and affirming” church for LGBTQ+ people.
What They Do
Provide safe spaces for worship, fellowship, and discussion.
Offer education on gender identity and faith.
